 Some people have an idea that witnessing is passing out literature tracks on the corner of a busy street. Others believe that only ordained ministers should preach and give Bible studies to reach people with the Good News of the Gospel. However, Jesus said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth laborers into His harvest.” (Mark 9:35-38) Do you recognize that YOU are the prayed for laborers?
There is a plea going out to you to Share Christ in your Marketplace and your community. You can use your business and circle of influence to reach people that your pastor may never meet. Many Lake Union Chapter ASI members have shared with me the exhilarating ways in which Christ is blessing and using them to witness to others. I encourage all of you to pray that God reveals new witnessing opportunities and gives you the inspiration to be a marketplace minister.
ASI believes and promotes the concept that as Christians we are in the world to share the Good News of salvation in Jesus, and that the marketplace, our jobs and businesses, are great places to accomplish that purpose. I invite you to join ASI for inspiration, motivation, partnership in mission, and fellowship with others in Christ.
